Pros

You can get benefits and decent pay, but that is only if you are willing to work a swing rotating shift (1st, 2nd, 3rd) that changes every 5-7 days that absolutely kills your body and family life. But f you are single, have at it.

Cons

The company can care less about you, your family, your health (most get some form of cancer before or right after they retire), your safety and like to take from your earned benefits year after year. You will work with hazardous chemicals day in and day out and the company doesn't care, when you simply ask for a vent for formaldehyde vapors they say it will cost too much or ignore you (just one of many examples).

Pros

Friendly colleagues and flexible hours.

Cons

As an international company with employees working in different time zones, it sometimes gets difficult to communicate with colleagues. This may sometimes lead to unusual office hours.

Pros

I'm one week into my journey at Momentive Performance Materials, and I couldn't be happier with how things have started. The onboarding process has been incredibly smooth—well-organized, supportive, and thoughtfully paced. I’ve transitioned from my previous role without feeling overwhelmed or anxious, which speaks volumes about the culture here. The corporate HQ is a fantastic place to work. My desk setup is comfortable and well-equipped, and the environment is clean, modern, and welcoming. Everyone I've met so far has been warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. There's a real sense of community and collaboration. Bonus points for the cafeteria—it offers good food and a nice space to recharge during the day. Overall, I’m excited about what’s ahead and feel confident I’ve joined a company that values its people and sets them up for success.

Cons

Coming from a hybrid work environment, I initially had some hesitation about being on-site five days a week. However, it’s actually been a refreshing change. Being at corporate HQ has helped me build relationships faster, get face time with colleagues, and feel more connected to the company culture. The workspace is comfortable, the people are welcoming, and the cafeteria is a great perk—it’s made the transition smoother than I expected.
