Pros
The ground-level employees are amazing. Talented, friendly, and some of the hardest working people in the business. Great opportunities for technical ownership which is assigned based on competence and credibility, rather than just seniority.
Cons
Senior management will be the reason this company fails. Never in my career have I seen an executive team so uninspiring and incapable converting potential into a successful business. Their lack of vision, communication, transparency, forethought, and trust from employees is resulting in an enormous waste of talent and technology. Every decision from these people is reactionary, rarely involves all the relevant people, and is always made too-little-too-late. The hardworking frontline employees have dragged the company this far through long days/nights/weekends and through impossible schedule feats. It’s a shame the business can’t figure out how to capitalize on that and now people are burnt out without much of a positive outlook to show for it.
