Pros
Flexible hours(if you get a manager who gives you them) High level of growth(because nobody lasts) The only reason why I stayed so long was because I had one mentor who left due to upper managment.
Cons
High turn over rate due to lack of managment. My four years here upper managment has been a mess. All the managers are childish and need to grow up and care for their employees. It’s the district managers job to enforce this. Money Mart is constantly short staff and believe they don’t deserve to give their employees mileage when helping other stores. This company has become penny pinchers. They use to start employees a little bit above minimum wages but now they do the bare minimum. They have came up with a whole system on validating .10 cent raises due to your ability to work and sale. Mind you CSRs have a lot to do in one day and the slow computers don’t help. Money Mart will come up with any excuse to not pay you what you deserve. The computer system is terrible and if your store fails due to sales because of this computer failure it’s your issue. Upper managment thinks it’s also okay to have these young woman work alone with no security and close alone with no security. It’s ridiculous. Pay people to protect your people at least since you guys don’t pay well.
