Beware and be prepared to RUN - Anonymous employee MongoDB Employee Review

Decent pay but not super competitive. No 401K match. Beware of micro-managing and gaslighting managers. They did a bait and switch on me. Interviewed with one manager I clicked well with and immediately switched me to another manager upon joining. My new manager was a first-time manager + had a terrible reputation among the other ICs to be mentally and emotionally abusive, but I guess they had strong relationships with the skip level and other managers on the team. Nothing was done when I brought it up to my skip level and HR. Perhaps not all managers are like this, but be very wary of what kind of managers the company retains because it is very telling about the day-to-day work culture.
