Pros

Looks good on the CV and decent pay

Cons

- Toxic environment where leadership promote and fire based on personal image and agenda - New sales reps are not given the proper tools to be successful - Employees are driven to perform out of fear for losing their job - Leadership has a lack of honesty and will twist the narrative to further their own image. They will gladly stomp on lower employees for their own progression. - Employees are micro-managed and there is zero trust between leaders and employees. - Employees are not encouraged to try different ideas. It is the company's way or the highway. (even though the company parades that they encourage being scrappy and trying new things) - Zero work life balance. - Leadership never take responsibility for mistakes made. Instead they push the pressure to the lower level employees to take the heat. - Feedback to employees is aggressive and sometimes rude. Constantly driving fear and stress into every employee. - Working in sales at MongoDB feels like being in constant fear and constantly under a microscope . For anyone thinking of moving to MongoDB sales for the CV, pay or personal development, these can be found in many other companies. Do not make the move, it is never worth your health, self confidence and professional joy.

Pros

Supportive people, a strong culture, and meaningful flexibility are the biggest positives. I've had the chance to work with thoughtful colleagues who care about doing good work and helping each other succeed. There are solid opportunities to learn, build relationships across teams, and contribute in a way that feels impactful.

Cons

Workloads can be heavy during busy periods, and priorities can sometimes shift quickly (which is expected in growing companies)
