Pros
Good pay if you joined years ago, but they kept adjusting the commission plan to make you earn less. Cool product that has some loyal fans, but it's not really a general-purpose database, even though the company tries so hard to justify that.
Cons
Winner takes all. Salespeople who joined a few years ago really did make a fortune. Territories and industries have gotten smaller and smaller, and they’re trying to place senior/enterprise sales into dead territories, expecting them to grow something from nothing. If you don’t succeed, you’ll be reviewed using the so-called MEDDICC methodology and other things like PSP, FRP, and M4S. These were originally good, but mid-level management has nothing else to do. They cannot admit that your portfolio or territory is bad, so they can only judge you in a more scientific but unrealistic way. In my region, the average attainment is just below 30%, which is not healthy.
