Pros
If you're lucky you will get a project that looks good on your CV
Cons
- Massively underpaid. Way below the market range and any acceptable bar. No substantial pay increases for years. Annual "increase" is way below inflation rates - No framework/ KPIs for measuring individual performance. It's only peer feedback, which is not even taken into account in the year-end. - If you're a white straight male who has got friends amongst the leadership you'll get a promotion. Otherwise, if you're not in this demographic then keep on grinding to only find yourself stuck at the same spot or laid off - No stable processes. Changes in systems and processes happening every few months causing inefficiencies and downward shifts in moral - Changes in leadership happened a few times in the past 2 years. - Hierarchies not clear. Reporting structures random. Org. chart not transparent - Frequent burnouts - Understaffed, High workload, long hours with no compensation
