Company makes incredibly strange decisions. Leadership is questionable at best. Startups don't need to have Apple on their side to be successful, but this company thinks the partnership is the best thing that has ever happened to them. Considering there are other startups who deploy thousands of iPads as a business solution, the partnership makes no sense other than free advertising for Apple and them telling Monscierge to design Apple TV products which leads me to the next problem - focus. Company has no clear focus on what they're trying to do. At first they were selling big touchscreen displays (then stopped, and the software rarely gets updated so they can work on other projects), then started connect staff, then on top of that they're trying to do beacons, way-finding, and Apple TV software. No startup has a product line this big with a small team of engineers. Work capacity gets hit and the company fails to get projects out on time, which leads me to the next problem - chasing contracts. The company instead of building a solid product and selling it, chases contracts (sells first) and then develops the project (such as branded apps). What happens is these Apps never get updated and become outdated. Instead of just having 1 product that works well, they have a bunch of different apps that don't hardly work at all. Instead of selling "Monscierge" as a product, they sell "branded apps" to please the client for another contract to fulfill. This is backwards business and is unscalable this way. Anything that gets them money, they will find a way to try and get the client to sign then develop the project that rarely comes out on time. Nepotism runs deep and family members are hired as interns into departments that they have no business in being (not evening majoring in a relevant field) then sent on trips to work at the UK office for no apparent reason other than to spend company money that shouldn't be getting spent. They had a major personal information breach due to an e-mail scam that an employee fell for gave out personal information. This forced the company to fire that person and try to buy Lifelock for the entire company to try and fix it.
