Pros
Great location. Outstanding medical staff - the hospital offers a lot of really great specialty care not available in most community hospitals. Medical leadership is great to work with - they are mostly current and former clinicians who really understand the work of the medical staff.
Cons
Occasionally patients have to be transferred out for specialty care not available at the hospital - but even this is a pretty streamlined process as the hospital is used to working with the big academic centers of the bay area.
