Pros
Well paying. Hospital provided scrubs. Beautiful campus. Free parking for staff.
Cons
You’re lead to believe it is a nice organization. They boast about the art all over the hospital in your onboarding. It’s literally all low grade thrift store art that makes the hospital look worse. The maternity and nurses areas are dilapidated dungeons. It looks like a low income hospital, which has to be so off putting to patients. Passive aggressive management without a grip on nursing. No union. Unrealistic expectations of wanting all nursing staff to live within 30 mins of the hospital for whenever they get called in, which is unrealistic given how expensive the area is. Difficult and petty HR who absolutely are not there for employees, but rather the company. I’ve never worked with such unprofessional HR staff. Disorganized. Absolutely not using best practices or any evidence based practice at all. I’d be scared to ever be a patient here. Absolutely NO diversity in employees.
