Cons
Management tends to be young and inexperienced without proper onboarding training or mentorship . Others are too busy to provide thoughtful management beyond crisis situations. Departments are short staffed and often exploiting associate level workers on front lines so there is high turn over. There is very limited advancement for social workers into management positions.
