Pros
An ok institution to work for. If you are a hard worker, usually there is room to get extra hours.
Cons
I will say this as a perdiem worker who was unfortunately let go due to greed on both end, hospital and unions. Avoid Perdiem positions. Barely genuine coworkers and management. Its a self-preservation type of environment and there is always some sort of drama going on. Getting hired there is very hard for an outsider, they tend to look out for their "friends" both hiring mangers and HR dept. 1199 Union Reps there are unhelpful and lack knowledge.
