Pros
- flexible work policies ... like work from home, and work hours around meetings (but this depends highly on direct manager). - great learning opportunities via access to OReilly and Udemy. - some really nice people. - nice contractors.
Cons
- inadequate employee support, protection and dispute management. - unfair performance review framework (company-wide supported SMART framework, but in my line, it wasn't followed). - manager negatively talking about other employees behind their backs. - poor argumentation framework as far as challenging the status quo is concerned and dispute communication. - signs of ostracization upon differences. - managers in my line didn't make me feel empowered to take more responsibilities and show me a clear path to grow.
