Pros

Great people, decent pay, lots of freedom.

Cons

A lot of freedom means you sort of have to find your own projects. Operators can be cold at first. This all depends on your manager, of course.

Pros

The company has a bit of a startup-like vibe, and still feels established. They’re pretty open to letting younger engineers take on real responsibility , which makes it a good place to grow. From what I’ve seen in all-hands meetings, the senior leadership also seems to genuinely care about employees—you can kind of tell they’re paying attention and trying to take care of the team.

Cons

There’s nothing perfect, enjoy the time when you get in.

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! We’re thrilled to hear that our blend of an energetic, startup-style environment with the stability of an established company is resonating with you. We believe that giving younger engineers real responsibility early on is one of the best ways to learn and grow, so it’s wonderful to know you’re finding meaningful challenges here. It’s also incredibly encouraging to see that our senior leadership’s commitment to listening and supporting the team comes through in our all-hands meetings—that sense of genuine care is something we strive for every day. Your feedback motivates us to keep fostering a culture where everyone can develop their skills, make an impact, and feel truly valued. Thanks again for taking the time to highlight what makes this place special!

Pros

Good Health Benefits, and 401K

Cons

Although Moog promotes an unlimited PTO policy and emphasizes work-life balance, the actual execution is highly inconsistent and depends heavily on management. Some managers are supportive, while others induce guilt, leading to a culture where employees either underutilize their time or feel uncertain about expectations. Furthermore, compensation lags behind the market average, and internal career growth feels stagnant rather than actively supported.
