Pros

Friendly people, decent compensation, excellent facilities. MOOG used to be a good company to work for. I miss the employees (most) and my outside customers; NOT the managers.

Cons

I don't know where to begin : Lip service to MOOG :"culture" , NO accountability; none. The more connected one is, the less he / she is accountable, too much finger pointing and blame, lack of CLEARLY defined job descriptions, NO career paths, mangers intimidate employees who have constructive criticisms, dissention is NOT tolerated, back-stabbing is rampant, good employees are continually undermined by incompetent mangers / peers to look good to upper management, poor resource allocation, no proactive planning, all people want to do is put out fires to look like mini-Gods- all of these firs are preventable, but, encouraged so all can be heros- this wastes a TON of $ and time...I could go on. You get the picture- many people (talented) in AG flee, move to other divisions, quit, retire early as depression sets in. This chaotic working environment reeks havoc on one's mental health. It was never this way, MOOG CEO, please clean house in AG ! There is NO other way; you folks make superior products. You have lost your way.

Pros

You are surrounded by excellent colleagues across all departments, with the exception of Government Property.

Cons

The Government Property team suffers from severe leadership deficiencies and a toxic work culture. The Senior Manager has a well-documented history of high turnover, carrying a reputation from her previous role where team members actively sought transfers. Under this leadership, promotions are actively discouraged through targeted hostility and fabricated performance issues. Because the management team lacks foundational people skills and prior leadership experience, employee retention is critically low. While other departments within the organization offer great opportunities for growth, transferring into or staying within Government Property is highly discouraged.
