Pros

Good benefits and perks. Great summer picnic and winter bash. Company as a whole seems to care for employees.

Cons

Major disconnect between employees and management. Company transitioning from small company to large corporation and employees are going from knowing the CEO, to just being another number. Micromanaging from management is getting worse and worse as more layers of management are added and they need to justify their job.

Thank you for your review and for your 6+ years of service at Moog. It is unfortunate to hear that you are having a negative experience with us. While we are glad that you are enjoying the wide range of benefits and company events that Moog has to offer, we would like to address what you mention in the Cons and Advice to Management fields. What you describe is not what we strive for. As times evolve and our company continues to expand, we are constantly working to be a fluid organization while maintaining the culture of what makes Moog a great place to work. One of our top priorities is taking care of our employees and creating a positive, supportive working environment where our employees feel valued and empowered to do their best work. It is unfortunate that you have experienced behaviors that are inconsistent with these values. Leaders and managers that encourage and support our employees are key to keeping our Moog culture strong. At Moog, firmly believe that communication is crucial and include it as one of our core values. We are always looking for ways to improve our communication and create a more seamless working environment for everyone, so we encourage you to share your thoughts and speak with your manager or HR representative regarding strategies to improve. We will pass your concerns along to our site leaders, so they are aware of how one of their employees currently feels. Your feedback is appreciated, and it will help us to improve the working environment for everyone.

Pros

The company has a bit of a startup-like vibe, and still feels established. They’re pretty open to letting younger engineers take on real responsibility , which makes it a good place to grow. From what I’ve seen in all-hands meetings, the senior leadership also seems to genuinely care about employees—you can kind of tell they’re paying attention and trying to take care of the team.

Cons

There’s nothing perfect, enjoy the time when you get in.

We believe that giving younger engineers real responsibility early on is one of the best ways to learn and grow, so it’s wonderful to know you’re finding meaningful challenges here. It’s also incredibly encouraging to see that our senior leadership’s commitment to listening and supporting the team comes through in our all-hands meetings—that sense of genuine care is something we strive for every day. Your feedback motivates us to keep fostering a culture where everyone can develop their skills, make an impact, and feel truly valued. Thanks again for taking the time to highlight what makes this place special!

Pros

Good Health Benefits, and 401K

Cons

Although Moog promotes an unlimited PTO policy and emphasizes work-life balance, the actual execution is highly inconsistent and depends heavily on management. Some managers are supportive, while others induce guilt, leading to a culture where employees either underutilize their time or feel uncertain about expectations. Furthermore, compensation lags behind the market average, and internal career growth feels stagnant rather than actively supported.

We’re glad to hear our health benefits and 401(k) are adding value—thank you for calling that out. We did want to address your concerns you mentioned in the Cons field. We encourage you to discuss any specific concerns with your manager or an HR representative. Open communication is key, and we want to ensure that your voice is heard and any issues are addressed. Your candid perspective helps us improve, so we can learn more and address the specifics behind your experience. Thank you again for taking the time to share this.
