Leadership has no business being 'leaders'. When responding to question of how to react to changes in markets, response was "well, we'll see what everyone else does".

We are happy to hear that you enjoyed Moog’s benefits and company events; however, what you describe in the Cons and Advice to Management fields is not what we strive for. At Moog, a top priority is to create a positive, empowering work environment for everyone. Leaders and managers that encourage and support our employees are key to keeping our Moog culture strong. One of our core values is “we have to be adaptable and ready to change.” We do our best to reflect and recognize when change is needed and understand the need for continuous improvement in all of our activities. To encourage openness and transparency, Moog has also always operated with an Open Door Policy. Under this policy, employees can approach any leader in the company to discuss an idea, issue, or problem without having to worry about “breaking the chain of command.” Lastly, we want to assure you that our hiring decisions are made based on the best interest of the company. Pros

The company has a bit of a startup-like vibe, and still feels established. They’re pretty open to letting younger engineers take on real responsibility , which makes it a good place to grow. From what I’ve seen in all-hands meetings, the senior leadership also seems to genuinely care about employees—you can kind of tell they’re paying attention and trying to take care of the team.

Cons

There’s nothing perfect, enjoy the time when you get in.

Good Health Benefits, and 401K

Cons

Although Moog promotes an unlimited PTO policy and emphasizes work-life balance, the actual execution is highly inconsistent and depends heavily on management. Some managers are supportive, while others induce guilt, leading to a culture where employees either underutilize their time or feel uncertain about expectations. Furthermore, compensation lags behind the market average, and internal career growth feels stagnant rather than actively supported.
