Pros
Some autonomy. Moral is low enough in so many different areas of the firm, it's easy to connect with someone new on your shared contempt for the decline of the firm culture.
Cons
Management remains clueless (or unwilling to change) despite being explicitly told of low moral issues. Positions are not being filled when someone leaves, putting more stress on the unlucky few who remain.
