Pros
Starting to be more transparent with operational issues Huge bonuses for employee referrals of Engineers - though I never received one.
Cons
I wasn't there very long. It was apparent shortly after I was hired that I had made a big mistake. What was said in the interview wasn't at all what I encountered. They used the right terminology for today's IT but it quickly was obvious that it was just a tool to get talent in the door. The one thing that was abundantly clear was the lack of Engineers they're able to attract and retain. They implemented some great bonuses for referrals but it didn't help. This is not a localize problem, east coast, midwest, west, south, they have tons of engineering positions open. It's the company and management and how engineers are treated that keeps them from working at MorphoTrust. They want to move forward technologically but they refuse to get rid of antiquated tools. They talk of cloud and containers and devops - and they've had discussion groups trying to improve these areas but when everyone gets back to their desks, management destroys any ideas of improvement to put you right back on the same path they've been on for 10 years. It's the typical Management doesn't want to leave the technical world so they're going to make the decisions no matter what their engineers say about it.
