It was fun to learn about working in a hospital.

If you value your mental health, dignity, and basic human respect, stay far away from Morrison Healthcare. This company fosters a toxic environment where nepotism, bullying, and blatant disregard for staff and patient well-being are the norm. The management not only enables unprofessional behavior but actively participates in it, forming inappropriate friendships with younger workers and allowing abuse to thrive unchecked. HR? Useless. They blame the victims instead of addressing the problems. The managers' excuse for their behavior? “We are ghetto. That’s how we act.” Imagine working under that kind of leadership. It’s a high-pressure, thankless job where you’re expected to keep everything running smoothly while being verbally abused, ignored, and ultimately pushed to the breaking point—and when you finally break, HR pins it all on you. Patients and nurses? Management couldn’t care less about them. The priority here isn’t quality care—it’s protecting the toxic culture they’ve built. Many of these employees shouldn’t just be fired; they belong behind bars for the way they treat people. If you have any self-respect, run in the opposite direction of this disaster of a company.

flexible schedule. unlimited PTO. never a shortage of work. if you work for a unit with a good manager, that's all you need,

the flexible schedule is also a con. they call you at 6 am and 11 pm about things that can absolutely wait. the unlimited PTO is also a con, they do this so they don't have to pay you out when you leave or remove you, they also don't really let you take off as much time as you want. upper management, the VPs and DPs are nightmares. terrible people that are totally disconnected from the mission and the "corporate culture." they push acceptance at the unit level, and then upper leadership doesn't listen to it at all. The VPS and presidents like to take the CEO out drinking and they all love to party.
