Pros
I really love working for Mortenson, they provide great benefits, great upward career advancement for quality work, great mentoring structure, competitive pay, and is a family run company which you can feel from the top.
Cons
The projects we are going after and the customers we work with are very demanding - this seems to be the industry norm, but I wish leadership would listen to the cries for support to appropriately staff the team. As with most construction jobs you should expect early days and long days, but expecting 6am-6pm work days hardly allows for proper work life balance, even if you are great at time management.
