Pros

Great Benefits, Get to travel to see a lot of the country, Great people to work with

Cons

Long Hours, No relevant training. Basically put me (a new hire) out in a remote area with very little assistance. The job has suffered because of this. I feel as though I do not have any where near the support I should. Basically have been put in a situation to fail

Pros

- Huge company with a lot of resources. - Cool projects.

Cons

- Pay is not great especially for the amount of hours they want you to put in. - They do not pay for experience. So, it’s a good place to start, but if you have experience, go somewhere else. - They hire and promote way too quickly which means inexperienced people are in charge. - If you work in the field, you will be putting in 50-60 hours a week often and they justify it by saying you get subsistence. Do the math, you’re not getting paid very well at those hours even with subsistence. Also subsistence is a benefit for traveling, not justification for overusing employees. - While a lot of the people are good, it is a very political atmosphere.
