Pros

Exceptional compensation structure, great benefits, awesome office with lots of perks including free snacks, dinner when you work late, casual dress code. Working in digital strategy can be grueling, but at Mothership, they do all they can to make you feel like they're grateful for it. There are excellent opportunities for growth -- you can be promoted and work your way up if you're willing to put the time and effort in. The work is usually exciting because it follows the news cycle and current hot elections.

Cons

This is a very fast growing and young company -- management included. I'm a firm believer that most knowledge comes from experience so Mothership is certainly going through growing pains and taking the lessons it learns to heart. Another downside to the young staff is that there can be a lack of professionalism. The plethora of young millennials can be overwhelming. Also, a lot of folks are friends with their bosses/directors/and the partners and sometimes it can all see very cliquey.
