Pros
some amazing people work there, and I've met great friends and mentors through working there. They give a lot of perks, like nice work laptops, weekly uber eats vouchers, and monthly snack boxes
Cons
I got laid off from Mothership, along with 21 other people, last week. Greg Berlin informed us we were getting laid off through an email, in which he didn't even thank us for our work at the company. It was abrupt, unexpected, and cold. Mothership is a disorganized workplace that is constantly shuffling teams and clients around. They say that their people are their greatest asset, but they treat their lower-level employees (strategists) like they're disposable, which is why there's high turnover. They also barely pay their strategists enough to live in DC, and use the perks they give as an excuse to pay terribly.
