Pros
Outside salesmen were very nice and helpful. They fed us well, they were always buying breakfast and lunches. The warehouse manger was very nice and helpful. The warehouse people were very helpful and made you feel welcome.
Cons
The operation manger did micro-managing. There was very little training, Instead of allowing one to learn the software by entering orders folks have to watch another work the software for thirty-forty-five minutes, usually over their shoulder or from a side angle, If one asked too many questions they were considered "slow." They gave you a binder of how to do everything, however a lot of the information was outdated. We were only to ask the OM questions, which usually resulted in verbal warning about one's performance. I watched many new hires come and go in the short time I was there. There is a "click culture" at the office I was at, if you were not accepted by the click you were out. The inside sales office was very toxic lots of gossip and bad mouthing. No team sprit there, it was everyone for them selves. The click would go to the OM's office and everyone could hear them complaining about other employees? I had been in inside sales for years at a couple of different distributors, as were several other people whom were inherited from distributors Motion bought, They left very quickly, They saw what I saw. It was a degrading experience for all that were not in the Motion click.
