Wouldn’t stay too long, but great place to start - Team Manager Motion Recruitment Employee Review

Pros

I started my career at Motion and attribute that to the success I have today. The training is top notch and will stick with you. Walk onto any other sales floor after a year of hard labor at Motion and you will likely be the top performer. You’ll be negotiating contracts and candidate offers within months. Hard to get that experience elsewhere.

Cons

They will do everything in their power to convince you you won’t be successful if you leave the company. The pay is really bad compared to almost any other recruiting and sales job. I would get out after a year or so. I wasted a lot of time working my way up - and while I do feel I have awesome skills to show for it, I probably should have cut my time in Motion in half.

Pros

Easy interview process. Recruiter worked for me and wanted to see my get the job.

Cons

Only con was it took a while to finally start the job, but that wasn't Motion's fault.

Pros

- Free Bagels - Good training

Cons

Pay is far below what the role demands. Management is unprofessional and sets unrealistic expectations with little recognition or reward. No commission is paid until 10 full-time placements are made. Health insurance benefits are poor. A culture of bullying is tolerated and goes unaddressed. Employees are encouraged to mislead candidates and use their personal information to generate more sales, which raises serious ethical concerns.
