This company has policy or a deliberate way to praise one person back to back in a team. They try to devalue other employees for example out of 3 team members only one gets praised for doing the same kind and amount of work that others are and sometimes probably more work that other team members are doing with quality (but don’t get recognised or praised). I’m with Motive for 6 years now but this ghosting continues and every department here has this approach where they ghost people so they start feeling that they are worthless and can’t add value. Such a toxic work place I swear. This practice started in 2020 and is still going. I don’t feel motivated and recognised in anyway after spending 6 years at this layoff machine company. The EGC is nothing but a reason to rate Motive and advertise because you never get heard. Whether one on ones or engaging to discuss this matter with the leadership it is always a useless way. I have a message for Shoaib, culture team, and HR. Please start treating people equally! You just can’t leave great brains behind because they don’t talk much but get the job done in the most amazing way but don’t get heard or recognised. People who talk to much, say useless stuff in meetings and make questions sound difficult get all the praise like praising a child. Kindly look into this on priority. LET ME ASSURE YOU THAT THIS MODEL WILL NEVER MOTIVATE OTHERS TO WORK HARDER OR SMARTER. It’s just your way to GHOST them and demotivate them. Go the other way around and you will see more effort and hard work and smiles all around. Deal with employees in a mature way! For god sakes! Wake up leadership! Wake up!!!!! Good bye!
