Pros

*CEO (Greg Brown) is a fantastic leader *They don't sell surveillance equipment to China on moral grounds *They made a good round of company acquisitions *Generally above-average but not perfect company

Cons

*There are CONSTANT management shuffles, which eat into productivity and give the middle managers too much influence. *They stopped 401k matching during the COVID crisis, but that's gone on for a while now... *There's always miscommunication between the C-suite and the engineers on project schedules...execs always set deadlines without consulting the people that actually work on things...then they get angry when their artificial deadline is missed.

In my role, the only con I can even think of is Involving training teams in product development to get to know products as they are introduced.

Unlimited PTO, understanding management staff.

Cons

Onboarding was a nightmare - poorly structured, not enough training, and when I went live with customers I inherited several tickets I wasn't prepared to handle on my own.
