      - Unlimited PTO - Average Pay - Semi-remote - Decent benefits

      Cons

      - Some projects have way too many engineers that cause overall slowdowns via blocking pull request or just not understanding what to do. - Poor architecture level decisions being made on some projects such as having a single table in a database store everything, and putting business rules and security on the frontend. - Many projects are handed to interns at the start of it. - Legacy projects are filled with hacky spaghettis code making it near impossible to maintain/update. - Usual nepotism and corporate politics that slow things down.

      Pros

      I highly value the autonomy I am given to manage my own workload, and I thoroughly enjoy collaborating with several of my talented colleagues.

      Cons

      That independence comes at a cost. The company is incredibly disorganized and siloed. Management will force lateral moves on you without asking; I've ended up balancing four different roles with absolutely no pay increase. Requests for fair compensation compared to the peers I trained were completely ignored. Territories change constantly, but zero training is provided. You are essentially left entirely on your own to figure it out.

      Thanks for your review. We regularly review employee compensation to make sure it is competitive with local market practices in the industries and countries where we operate. Additionally, all Motorola Solutions employees participate in an annual incentive plan or a sales incentive plan. That said, we appreciate your feedback and have made a note of it.
