Niche software dev BU followed through with employment offer after 6 month contract-to-hire period. Provided me FMLA and even additional 2 weeks paid maternity leave without any legal obligation. Improved my resource management skills, built network via enterprise training sessions, increased GIS and agile methodology domain knowledge, and learned interesting facts about sustainability and construction engineering environmental design dependencies. Also, I felt heard and valued after my project risk reporting was addressed by leadership and a major issue avoided.

My labor cost became commercially restrictive after leadership changes at a strategic client. I was impacted during an Oct. Reduction in Force post a re-org.
