Pros
Global company with potential for lots of different opportunities. Most of the people/professionals are easy to get along with and like to help each other. The benefits package seems on par for the industry. The work/life balance is pretty good however you do have to actively manage your workload or else it can quickly get out of control. Challenging projects that when completed are something to be proud of.
Cons
As an engineering consulting company with many project managers there seems to be a loss for project management skills and little upper management support for developing and utilizing standard project management tools such as maintaining a working schedule throughout project life, utilizing management of change processes and client management. Projects seem to typically be in a state of emergency, always on the reactive, and normally behind schedule which translates to unnecessary stress for everyone on the project team. Resources (people) are typically overbooked on multiple projects with multiple project managers with competing schedules. It can be quite chaotic to manage personal workloads from multiple project managers. Many of the project managers are not engineers and don't seem to understand the responsibility that engineers undertake when sealing drawings.
