silo mentality between divisions, internal fights between divisions even for petty arguments, career progression is lead more by the years spent in the company that the actual achievements of people, some rather mediocre senior manager, very hierarchical structure, everything needs to escalate to divisional and unit directors from travel expenses to 20m fee projects
