Pros

Little to no oversight by management. Not really a pro. Unlimited PTO

Cons

No direction by executive team for business strategy other than telling employees what EBITDA is at every QBR. There is nothing groundbreaking about their tech from the reimbursement side. The company preaches culture but they really do not have any culture. People log in to their computer and work as needed and then that’s it. No collaboration. The device side of the business is a disaster. They have been working on a product for over 3 years and still have almost nothing to show for it. Customers are not happy. Sales organization is terribly unprofessional. We had a sales conference in Arizona that would have had most people fired at a normal company. I was not here first hand but I heard from colleagues and it’s was shocking what was said. HR talks about how much diversity they have but that is false marketing. The only thing diverse is that most managers are female. The only people that work there that are African Americans are a couple that work in the call center in Georgia. A classic all white executive team

Pros

Honestly, this has been one of the best companies I’ve ever worked for. The WFH setup is great, the benefits are solid, and the work/life balance is real. You’re treated like a professional, and you’re trusted to manage your own desk and get things done. You do need to be good at prioritizing and taking ownership, but if you like that kind of independence, it’s perfect. People are open to feedback too. If you see something that could be better, you can speak up and make suggestions. Overall, just a really great place to work. I genuinely enjoy the people I work with.

Cons

I’d say the salary and bonus structure could be clearer. I don’t always have a good understanding of how those decisions are made, and a little more explanation from leadership would really help.

Pros

The job itself, is easy. Set schedule. PTO and Holidays were generous.

Cons

Leadership issues exist at every level of the organization, from upper management down to frontline supervision. There is very little accountability or advocacy for employees, and local management often seems unwilling or unable to address concerns before they become larger problems. While many of these issues may have existed before Motus took over, the company has done little to improve them and, in many cases, has allowed them to continue unchecked. The workplace culture also suffers from a lack of professionalism. Bullying and disrespectful behavior are often tolerated, creating an environment where negativity spreads rather than being addressed. HR will encourage you to come forward with concerns but having no HR present in the office means you will face social retaliation and whatever professional retaliation leadership can get away with. Employees who consistently work hard and take initiative can feel overlooked, there's no merit in doing a thorough job.
