Pros

If you’re somewhat mechanical you can get hired pretty easy. It’s a union gig, and the quarterly attendance bonuses are nice. 12 hour shifts but long weekends

Cons

12 hour shifts. The environment is pretty dusty and you use a lot of hazardous chemicals.

Pros

Lots of days off due to different work schedule. 36 hours one week then 48 the following week. Easy going coworkers and very lenient supervisors until you become experienced and know what you are doing. Perfect attendance bonus and possibility of earning 2 personal days for perfect attendance.

Cons

12 Hour shifts can be tough very physically demanding.
