Pros
- Decent pay for the work - Weekends off - Good benefits - You get a minimum of 42 hours a week (with lots of chances for overtime) - WhichWhich in the building specifically for employees - Free ice cream on Wednesday (and oftentimes we get other free food) - Good coordinators and supervisors (at least my specific ones are) - As far as not meeting performance, the supervisors and coordinators will try to help you to meet your goals as best as they can - Plenty of PTO
Cons
- Bad HR department - Boring & Repetitive (my biggest problem, it's too damn repetitive and requires no thought or creative thinking) - You feel super replaceable - Ridiculous goals - For the past few months a lot of time is spent standing around a coordinator's desk waiting for work because there is none - Doctor's notes don't really count (if you get sick before you get PTO you'll get fired) - Being ONE MINUTE late from lunch gets you points against you - No phones (which you shouldn't be using at work anyway but some people will find that a con I guess) If you think you can meet the goals (i.e. you can pull orders fast and without mistake) and you don't think it will drive you crazy bored then you'll definitely like it. It's really not a bad job, I personally don't like it because I don't like the actual work. But the company has really nice benefits and little extras for employees.
