Pros
The business is solid and growing. I've worked in 5 depts, had extra training, learned the business starting at the bottom. The mobility in this company is phenomenal. There is a precedent for nepotism (many husbands and wives work here). And schedules are flexible and if you are in a good department
Cons
The flipside to everything I said: it's growing so fast that focus changes & processes become jumbled. I've worked in 5 departments, and I had to fight the good fight to get out of my first. I'm good, very good at what I do and they didn't want me to go and tried their best to block me from leaving. But I am persistent and made it out to a fabulous autonomous department. I've had extra training that I ASKED for, I insisted on and I could prove it was beneficial. Schedules are as flexible as the need. After all this is a warehouse, AND customer service center. There are schedules to keep to service the customers. If you are in Sales, be prepared to wait a while if your schedule needs to change. And the pay is terrible. The reason why I've stayed? The learning opportunities of department hopping.
