Proceed With Caution - Anonymous employee Movemedical Employee Review

Unfortunately the toxic culture that is perpetuated by the CEO prevents Movemedical from effectively utilizing their team of great technical people. The CEO has a pattern of giving vague direction and then berating and belittling his team when they don’t execute the way he expects. He calls out and compares employees to each other in a group setting, making people feel undervalued, unappreciated, and embarrassed. Several employees have mentioned that they feel this behavior crosses the line of what is appropriate. This negative culture has resulted in low productivity and huge turnover. Movemedical has lost several great employees due to this. Some employees have spoken up to try to make a positive change to the culture, but the CEO has refused to accept that this behavior is inappropriate. It’s really a tragedy. Movemedical has a great product and huge potential, but I don’t see them being able to scale up until they can overcome this major hurdle.
