Pros
The people are smart and are also very nice. You get to work on cool technology, completely in the open. Ergonomic keyboard? Jetbrains license? Macbook Air? All checks. You get to choose your tools, both software and hardware. Open-minded about just everything. Using new tools if it fits the job is a given. You get to travel every so often, either to go to "all-hands" meetings quarterly and/or to "work weeks", when you travel to gather with your team in some location in the world. Generous bonus, paid quarterly, nice perks, nice office, nice working environment, espresso machine, occasional catered lunches and of course the work itself is very interesting.
Cons
- It may be a bit hard to get started at Mozilla if you don't already know someone. This is due to the distributed nature of teams. Make friends and ask them to show you around to get up to speed faster. - No stocks
