Pros

Benefits are good, pay ok (though it's gotten worse for low level employees). Remote is great

Cons

The entire c-suite has abandoned ship in the past 12 months. Leaving a bunch of vacancies and interim leaders who have no vision except "return desktop to growth" which is impossible. Layoffs hit and those who are laid off were critical. Claim that innovation is important, but shutter the innovation team. Impossible to get promoted unless you suck up to a VP or C-level, then you can go from an L2 to a senior director in a few years.

Hello, Thank you for providing honest and constructive feedback on your experience at Mozilla. First off, we appreciate your comments on the company’s remote work arrangements and benefits. The benefits team works diligently to ensure all employees have great coverage for themselves and their families. Additionally, Mozilla is proud of its remote culture (>50% of our employees work remotely). Given recent changes in the organization, we understand that employees may feel differently about Mozilla. We recognize these concerns, and want to be clear that we are here to listen. Participating in the recent employee engagement survey is a great way to share these insights and let your voice be heard by leadership directly, as well. Please let me know if you would like to share any additional feedback with me. My contact information is listed below. Best, Chelsea Fletcher cfletcher@mozilla.com

Pros

Great health insurance benefits. Literally you pay nothing per pay check. Also parental leave is 6 months which is rare in the US. Wellness days were nice too.

Cons

Lack of black people in and promoted to senior / management positions even though there are many qualified people to be there. Also management cannot make decisions. They are leaps and bounds behind the competition and many lack competence.
