Local management is completely terrorized by corporate. Providers in th eUrgent Cares have unionized for basic things like PPE (Google 'Multicare strike 2020') and have been subject to attacks from corporate management in retaliation which have been so obnoxious, there are multiple Labor Board cases and court proceedings about it. Clinical management has zero power when it comes to protecting providers and the end game seems to be growth at the cost of providers well-being and patient care standards.
