We’ve worked hard to find efficiencies that don’t require layoffs. Even so, you are correct that we have had some staffing cuts, primarily in areas that do not provide direct patient care. At the same time, we have continued to add new services and expand our service area. As a result, we were able to welcome nearly 1,600 new employees during the past year.
