Pros
I guess pay rate (AMC) is slightly better than other King county hospital.
Cons
Pay rate is so low for the amount of work RNs are expected to do. MHS is willing to hire travelers and pay them over $100/hr. No wonder why all staff RNs are jumping ship. No teamwork on the unit because most RNs are travelers and staff feel cheat bc we are being paid much lower to do the same work as travelers. Treat/pay staff better and maybe we’d stay…. Management could care less if the unit is short staffed. They are on call when the unit is severely short, but they never come in to help. Teamwork, huh.
