Pros

pay is pretty on par with the market. The company culture is very stable, minimal politics, and there are numerous people who have been with the company for more than 25 or 30 years. Work life balance depends on you, and how laid back your manager is (we do have a few ball busters here). But i would say in general its very good. Almost no one emails on the weekends or holidays and extra hours are just on travel or conf calls to Japan if you are in a role that does that, not all do that. Also financially we are making record breaking profits, massive cash reserve and we seem to be buying a new company every 8 months.

Cons

the good news is minimal politics, the bad news is that there is not much job movement as a result. People do their jobs for 5-10 years on average and promotions/transfers are not easy to come by. With how well we are doing financially, its still hard to come by a promotion, hard to understand that.

Pros

I am very happy in my current role as a Key Account Manager at Murata Electronics. The work is challenging and engaging, and while it can be busy, I enjoy the pace. My manager sets clear expectations, provides good direction, and is both reasonable and supportive. Murata offers fair compensation, excellent benefits, and recognizes employee contributions. I appreciate the opportunities for professional growth through training, increased responsibilities, career advancement, and salary increases. Overall, the experience has met my expectations and provided the career development opportunities I was seeking.

Cons

As customer expectations continue to increase, the organization is often challenged to respond with greater speed and flexibility. Continued investment in resources and process improvements could help support employees in meeting these demands more efficiently.

Pros

The strongest part of working here is the balance between a modern technical direction and genuine employee support. Culture: It’s a low-ego environment. People are focused on solving technical problems rather than playing politics or seeking personal power, which makes collaboration very effective. Growth: The company is aggressively expanding its technical footprint. There is zero stagnation here; you have access to a massive variety of online learning platforms to keep your skills sharp. Benefits: The total rewards package is excellent. A 100% 401k match up to 6% is industry-leading, and the vacation policy is generous enough to actually allow for a reset. Work/Life Balance: Despite the growth, the company respects personal time, making it a sustainable place for a long-term career.

Cons

The primary challenges stem from the sheer size and pace of the organization. Information Silos: Because the company is so large, there is a constant "firehose" of information coming from other divisions. It can be difficult to filter what is relevant to your specific workflow. Capacity: The workload is consistently heavy. While the culture is supportive, the "plate" is often overflowing, which requires very disciplined prioritization to stay on top of daily tasks.
