Pros
-if your part of the in group, you will go far and can do no wrong -don't have of good to say about this company -once you make management you cant be fired, they can move you to a new position but you know to many dirty little details to be fired -you really dont have to work, almost every shop has a normal 4-6 hour a day screw off period
Cons
-you dont notice how bad this place really is until you worked for them over a year, they will keep trying to "Show" you they dont really function like this. -management is in the process of a company wide redesign. they are replacing most management and sales positions with young fresh minds, most are under 30 years old. chances are you will be managed by a 23 year old fresh out of collage. -if you are in managements good graces you can do no wrong! really if you want to change $10k in wiring harness trying to fix a machine that has excessive high side pressure in an a/c system. your a top tech. if no customer wants you on there job site, don't worry you get a new field truck. if you want to sit on you butt 4-6 hours a day and turn out mostly rework, dont worry we need you -quality techs are belittled, openly harnessed until they fall in line or are forced out the door. -customers and cat warranty are over billed to cover rework, poor troubleshooting -no tooling, what there is a piled in an every changing room and is often broken or stolen. -if you have worked for another cat dealer, run!
