Pros

Great with marketing and logos! I think there are more pros for admin, management, and support staff or those without clinical degrees. The wages, benefits, and work-life balance may be quite good for that population.

Cons

Over-focused on productivity over individualized patient care. Staff is penalized for lack of productivity when spending time in patient-care activities that are not "billable". Time off sick (for self, children, or company's COVID requirement of 5 days off) is penalized through a points system. This encourages staff to work when sick and to not test for COVID because they will be forced into 5 days off of their PTO. Wages generally lower for most advanced professions than other locations, There is a lot of fluff and wasted time and money working toward employee engagement when this would be better spent on salaries, breaks during the work day, dedicated holiday and sick time, and general respect for professionals clinical decision-making skills.

Pros

MyMichigan is a great place to work. Leadership strives to improve not only patient care but also improve the lives of staff and the communities we serve. I say we because I am MyMichigan and I am very proud to say that I have been a part of a great organization and have watched it grow across the state to support so many more communities.

Cons

Parking can be challenging at times.

Pros

Work/Home balance is good. PTO no weekends 403b and life insurance short term disability

Cons

Staff are unfriendly, Gossip, current manager does nothing to solve staff grievences Pay is well below the competitors average, Health insurance is expensive . Work place harassment and exclusion by management and staff. Manager lies to staff about the narrative of department situations causing staff to feel threatened and some have left or refuse to pick up shifts.
