Pros

Good benefits. Free meals, snacks, and coffee.

Cons

Wow, lot's to say here. There are little to no career opportunities for most roles at this company; you will stay in your role and do the same things everyday with little opportunity to learn from other projects in your department. Management is NOT on your side at all, even your direct manager. In general, they act like all is well when people on the front-line tell them otherwise. They will not listen to those who are doing the work and making recommendations. If you are thinking of taking a laboratory operations position here, DON'T! There seems to be an attitude among leadership that considers lab employees to be less than. Unless you're in sales or work remotely, your experience at this company will vary significantly. This also impacts company culture. I'll never forget the CEO asking lab members to dress better when we all know that employees are on the hook for new clothing should a spill or accident occur. I think Myriad is one of the lowest paying Biotech companies, especially for roles in the SF Bay Area. For the reasons listed above, it's just not worth it. From a high level fiscal perspective, this company is hurting and had to take a massive line of credit to stay afloat.

Pros

Really strong work from home culture, most the people are pretty nice and easy to get along with.

Cons

A couple of really loud corporate types cause problems for everybody else. It's not clear at all that leadership has Any idea what they're doing and stock prices are plummeting and layoffs continue. Too many people think they're the CEO
