Pros
The company mission of helping patients is wonderful and in some ways they do follow it. The pay is pretty fair. The employee benefits are great. There are a lot of incredible employees that are passionate about helping the patients.
Cons
The training for new employees is not sufficient and is done by people that don't know how to do the job they are training for. Myriad has a lot of employees in management roles that do not have the patients' best interest in mind, and are not the most knowledgeable or skilled for the position. They set expectations for their departments and teams that working faster is more important than quality of their work and more important than working on the patient's case that has been waiting the longest.
