Manager-level and above don’t actually do much outside of meetings. Typical corporate backstabbing and alliances. Best teams sit within lab ops and dev, avoid all otjer depts. Manager-level and above are fearful, because they get paid a lot and know one minor slip could cost them their job, witnessed every quarter with constant firings; the fear is real and hinders open communication, collaboration and operational improvements.
