Pros
Relatively good pay, easy to learn if you like the automotive world.
Cons
Very corporate and unprofessional in many fields, Most protocols make no sense and look like they were conceived 50 years ago, too much work done on paper when it could be easily be translated to digital. The person above you would put your mental health at risk and milk you out if it meant for them to look an ounce better to their supervisor and earn just dollar more for the store, heavy gender discrimination in the store I worked at (If you are a pretty woman you could get around with things). Prohibiting tips not only damages the customer's view of the store making it seem less welcoming and humane, but could potentially damage the store due to less incentive for employees not trying to be more helpful and take extra steps to help customers, hence avoiding many customers becoming regulars because they would be basically be attended by a robot who just says "we don't have that part" at first sight, making the store less money.
