      Pros

      NASA is an incredible place to work. DFRC is like a family and I feel like part of it. I get to work on very interesting and innovative research while being exposed to some incredible things very few others have seen.

      Cons

      This is the US Government and with that comes the pace at which Government operations take place sometimes.

      Incredible WLB, impactful work, sense of pride when talking about what you do.

      Cons

      Have to work with legacy codebases often (like Fortran).

      They tend to have managers who were engineers. And, "we're going to the freakin Moon!"

      Government bureaucracy stuff, and residues of DOGE
